# IntentRoute — public discovery brief ## Identity IntentRoute is developing a free, machine-readable capability discovery layer for AI agents, developers, and capability providers. ## Current status **Draft v0.1 / active development.** The early prototype, public website, discovery vocabulary, machine-readable reading path, and project manifest are built and under local quality testing. The first sourced record set is being prepared for staged release. ## Canonical public sources - [Resource map](/llms.txt) - [Documentation index](/docs.md) - [Discovery schema](/protocol.md) - [Current status](/status.md) - [Roadmap](/roadmap.md) - [Project-specific manifest](/.well-known/intentroute.json) ## Draft discovery vocabulary - **Capability**: a digital tool, API, or agent service described for discovery. - **Provider**: the declared source associated with a capability record. - **Offer**: public terms or access context associated with a capability. - **Intent**: a stated need and constraints. - **Receipt**: a material record of discovery facts and evidence. The vocabulary is evolving with prototype testing and sourced record work. ## First catalog milestone The first catalog category will introduce a small curated record set with provenance, review dates, access context, and a correction path. ## Interfaces Current agent access uses the canonical public resources above. MCP and A2A are planned connector stages and will receive explicit endpoints and status metadata when validated for public use. ## Working direction Documentation, schema details, roadmap sequencing, and release scope may change as testing, ecosystem developments, and user feedback provide better evidence. ## Prototype privacy The current prototype is designed without application-level forms, accounts, analytics, cookies, or visitor-submitted data. Hosting request processing and logging will be documented after platform verification.
